Abstract:
Introduction:
Organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction and spiritual intelligence are the important psychological factors that effect on moral behavior of persons. This research aimed to investigate the aligned of organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction and spiritual intelligence with moral behavior of nurses.
Materials and Methods:
This is a descriptive study of cross-sectional type. The statistical population included all hospital’s nurses of Varamin city in 2015 year that from them 90 nurses selected by simple random sampling method. All of them completed the questionnaires of organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction, spiritual intelligence and moral behavior. Data was analyzed by Pearson correlation and multivariate regression with stepwise model methods and with using SPSS-19 software.
Results:
Results showed organizational citizenship behavior (r=0/486), job satisfaction (r=0/379) and spiritual intelligence (r=0/325) had a positive and significant relationship with moral behavior of nurses (p≤0/01). The variables of organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction and spiritual intelligence significantly can predict 38 percent of variance of moral behavior in nurses that in this prediction the share of organizational citizenship behavior was higher than other variables.
Conclusion:
According to positive and significant relationship between predicted variables with moral behavior suggested to counselors and therapists for improve the moral behavior of nurses increase the rate of organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction and spiritual intelligence. Also suggested to officials and planners that consider the symptoms of mentioned variables and design appropriate programs to improve the moral behavior of nurses.
