Introduction:

Education is the first mission and performance of universities and educational ethics at the University warrants security, welfare and prosperity of individuals and groups of students and faculty members. Since nursing profession is a highly sensitive and humanistic filed and is based on ethics and ethics in nursing education plays an important role in the formation of moral values in nursing students, this study aimed to determine the importance of ethics in education and the level of complying with it from the perspective nursing students of Kerman University of Medical Sciences.

Materials and Methods:

This is a descriptive and cross-sectional study in which 250 nursing students in educational levels bachelor, master and Ph.D. participated. Data were collected by a researcher-made questionnaire that its validity and reliability were calculated. included demographic information and educational ethics. Data were analyzed by using software SPSS version 16 and descriptive statistics and regression coefficient.

Results:

The results of this study showed that ethics in education is very important from the perspective of nursing students to the extent that the mean score of the importance of ethics in education from the vantage point of students was 224/1±17/8 out of 250

Conclusion:

The results of this study show that although ethics in nursing education was important from the perspective of the participants, the level of complying with it was not desirable. So, it is recommended that the reasons and factors affecting this perspective towards abiding ethical principle in education are identified
